A sidewalk cafe - a quintessential scene in Paris, although nearly deserted this early in the morning.

The uncluttered scene allowed the diagonal lines of the chairs to make for a stronger photograph.

Two street performers acting out a magnificent slow-dance depicting racial conflict, violence and finally redemption and acceptance of each other.   Date: July '86

This amazing sculpture is located behind Les Halles, in front of St. Eustace Church, in the 1st arrondissement.

The soft pink glow of the early evening light was enhanced with an 81A filter.

  An aspiring artist practicing and comparing her skills to that of the great masters on display in the Louvre.

I had to carefully use the camera's spotmeter in manual mode to get to a correct exposure and not let the dark areas fool the lightmeter.
